About the Practice
Darren Campbell Architect is a client focused architectural practice active on Sydney’s North Shore in the design of new homes, residential alterations and additions, smaller multi-residential developments and smaller commercial and interior projects. The practice offers full architectural services, designing and administering projects from concept through the planning and construction approval stages to completion.
Darren graduated from the University of New South Wales with the RAIA Student Biennale Award. He established DCA in 2006 after 15 years of architectural practice and following a rewarding career with two large national architectural firms. The practice is based in Crows Nest on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
DCA engages in a collaborative way with clients and is passionate about delivering houses that are individual and distinctive. He believes his client is the most important factor in a project and during the design process his client desires are invited and respected. During the project, Darren presents solutions which are appropriate, contextual and deliver value. This requires an understanding of the client’s current needs while offering flexibility and adaptability as their lifestyle evolves.
The process of building is detailed and can at times be intense and with the involvement of an experienced builder supported by a capable architect, it is also likely to be very rewarding. Darren suggests working with trusted builders who have a demonstrated ability to follow everything through to the final detail.
Darren is registered with the NSW Board of Architects and a member of the Australian Institute of Architects and the Association of Consulting Architects Australia.
