Darren designed the restoration of our 1910 Federation Home. We discovered Darren though the Institute of Architects and looked on line at some of his completed work. Our brief was “simple”. We gave him the need for bedrooms, bathrooms, lounges and kitchen/family room. We also told him what we did not like and did not want. Darren then presented us with options as to how we could renovate. We then jointly developed the plans for what we are now living in. One of Darren’s strongest attributes we believe, is his ability to listen and at the same time visualise and explain the design. The most effective homely beautiful restoration that we could have desired. The building process was enhanced by regular meetings with Darren and our Builder. Darren has been very sympathetic to our needs and the heritage requirements of our suburb. He has done an outstanding restoration in blending the “old” and the “modern” fixtures, fittings paintwork/colours and furniture. A fantastic Architect who we highly recommend.
